Baltic amber contains small, yet effective amounts of succinic acid on its surface. When your baby wears the necklace, their body heat warms up the amber beads causing the release of the succinic acid. This acid is then absorbed into their skin, allowing them to reap the benefits of the succinic acid’s anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties.
These are real testimonials from our focus group carried out back in September 2020.
Built to last and durable, our necklaces are lightweight and comfortable. In fact most babies don’t even notice they have it on. Each bead is individually knotted on a sturdy twine for extra safety. A screw clasp keeps the necklace in place preventing from falling off easily.
We use 100% RAW amber in every necklace that we create. We believe in providing the purest version of amber, a product that has not been treated with artificial processes or high heat, which would reduce its effectiveness. Certified by the International Amber Association our necklaces come in a standard size of 12.5 inches to fit most babies.
We stand by our product’s quality and authenticity but, in the case of an unsatisfactory purchase, we also care about you and your little ones. If you aren’t satisfied with our amber necklace for any reason, please send us a message.
Your satisfaction is what ultimately brings success to our company! That’s why we commit to respond within 24 hours. Just drop us an email and we will get back to you very shortly!
Babies can begin wearing the necklaces at 2 months old, and continue wearing it all the way up to about 3 years of age when the teething period is finished. They can wear them when they’re older, as long as they understand they can’t chew on them. The necklaces are pretty and some kids like to keep them and wear them past the teething stage. They should still be supervised when wearing the necklace and wear it only when they are awake.
If they are sized properly, they are considered to be pretty safe. Make sure the baby is supervised while wearing the necklace and that it is removed before the baby goes to sleep. Most necklaces also have a breakaway closure and double knotted beads which help to provide added safety.
No, your baby should not chew on the beads to prevent a choking incident. Necklace is meant to be worn only. Please note that the necklaces are extremely light and in most cases children don’t realise they wear it. It’s also recommended to always supervise your child when wearing the necklace.
No, you should take it off before the baby’s sleeping time and have the baby wear it only when they are awake and under adult supervision.
Well, some people would say the necklace is better because it is in close contact with more body heat due to its placement on the neck. However, some parents feel safer giving their baby a bracelet or anklet, since it isn’t tied around the neck. The reality is that this is a very personal decision and is left to your discretion. Whichever your preference, our amber necklace has enough length to allow for a double twist around most babies’ ankles.
Clean with a soft cloth and soapy lukewarm water and it should be air dried. Never use any household cleaners or chemical ingredients when cleaning your beads.
The standard length of a teething necklace is 12.5 inches. You want the necklace to fit comfortably without being too tight or too loose. The necklace should fit loose enough around the neck so you can insert two or three fingers but you should not be able to get the necklace above the child’s chin so the necklace cannot be put in his/her mouth. It’s best to measure before purchasing just to make sure the 12.5 inch length works for your baby, as we only carry this size.
Your baby can wear their necklace while bathing, but it should be removed before going swimming in a chlorinated pool. We cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the necklace after it has been exposed to chemicals other than soap.
A simple little test to tell if your amber necklace is made from Baltic amber is to place the necklace in salt water. In order to do this test you will need about 7 teaspoons of salt and a medium size cup of water. Add all teaspoons of salt into the water and stir well until salt is fully dissolved. In the next step add your Amber gemstone into this water. Real Amber should float in this water easily while the majority of fakes will sink fast.

No, the colour does not impact the effect necklaces have on a baby. Each colour is made up of the same amount of Succinic Acid. It is believed, however, that the lighter beads allow for the oil to be absorbed into the body more efficiently.
Fasten an appropriately sized necklace around your baby’s neck.
You may want to distract your baby for a moment so the baby forgets the necklace is there.
Let the amber lay against baby’s skin
Always supervise your baby whilst wearing a necklace
Enjoy the benefits of this Baltic wonder as other mamas do 🙂
You should expect to notice its effects within 30 minutes of being worn.
Of course, anything in its natural state is best. If you can find unpolished or semi-polished options, these would be best because amber in its raw state is most powerful.
